Who we are

Snagg ("we", "us") is a wishlist app that lets you save products you want, organise them into wishlists, and share them with friends and family. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email us at business@snaggwishlist.app.

Information we collect

Account information. When you register we collect your email address and a password, or — if you sign in with Apple or Google — the name and email address those providers share with us. We also collect the profile details you choose to add: your name, username, date of birth, profile photo, and preferred currency, and optionally a phone number and gender.

Your content. The wishlists you create and the products you save: photos you upload or capture, product names, prices, links, notes, and the shops they come from.

Social activity. Who you follow, who follows you, and pending follow requests, so the social side of Snagg works.

Contacts (optional). If you choose to invite friends, we ask for access to your device contacts so you can pick who to invite. Contacts are read on your device to compose the invitation; we do not upload your address book to our servers.

Device and usage information. Push notification tokens (so we can deliver notifications you've enabled) and basic technical logs generated when the app talks to our servers.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide Snagg: creating and displaying your profile and wishlists, sharing wishlists with people you choose, showing you who wants to follow you, sending notifications you've enabled (such as follow requests and account verification codes), and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Sharing and visibility

Your profile and public wishlists are visible to other Snagg users, and wishlists you share via a link can be viewed by anyone with that link. If your account is set to private, your wishlists are visible only to followers you approve.

Service providers

Snagg runs on Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, and cloud functions, hosted on Google Cloud in Europe). We use Apple and Google for optional sign-in, Apple/Google push notification services for notifications, and trusted email delivery providers to send account emails such as verification codes. These providers process data only to provide their services to us.

Your rights and choices

You can update your profile details in the app's settings at any time, change your notification permissions in your device settings, and delete your account from within the app — deleting your account removes your profile, wishlists, and social connections. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing; contact us to exercise them.

Children

Snagg is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Data retention and security

We keep your information while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account, except where a copy must be retained to comply with law. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and note the new effective date below. Continued use of Snagg after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
